Reflection of learning Service Excellence/Essentials Program

I will show reflection of how the techniques learned throughout the Service Excellence/Essentials Program will help ensure the success of our restaurant item by item.

Customer service skills

Customer service skills are skills that are literally a must for restaurants. I learned how to serve customers with a sense of hospitality to make them happy. It is natural to be able to just serve customers, but when we serve customers with extra hospitality, sales will increase and customer satisfaction will be higher. In a world overflowing with products and services, customers have more choices of where to buy and how much freedom to choose. In a world overflowing with goods, customers have more choices of where to buy, and they can choose freely. It is a given that every restaurant can provide customer service, and extra hospitality is necessary to beat the competition. By competing in the tough market of the hospitality industry, I have learned the art of hospitality, such as how to make customers happy.

Canadian workplace essentials

Under the Canadian workplace, I learned the essentials of being an employee. Learning this will make it easier for me as owner of a restaurant to put myself in the shoes of my employees. The importance of being there for our employees is essential everywhere.

Sales fundamentals

In this section, we learned about sales expertise. Learning how to sell things efficiently will surely help in the operation of our restaurant. The key is how to successfully win the hearts of customers. The sales situation depends on the quality of the menu, the restaurant's interior design, the customer service, and how the omurice looks and tastes.

Food and beverage service

This item is also very important for restaurants dealing with food. Knowledge of how to store food, replenish inventory, and how to handle different types of food will be used in the operation of the restaurant.

Leadership

There are many situations in business where leadership skills are required, even if I'm not a leader. Having goals and striving to realize them, training junior staff, and dealing with problems at the daily work level are skills that are required of all business people. Clear direction is essential for teamwork. If the direction is unclear, each person may not be able to share the purpose of the work and may end up working in different directions. To prevent this from happening and to achieve results, it is necessary for all members to share the same direction and be united as one. The quality of work will improve when each person brings his or her leadership skills, such as leadership and judgment, and demonstrates his or her strengths in his or her own area of responsibility. As a result, the team can achieve greater results.
